At Highland Place, you'll enjoy the breakfast almost as much as you enjoyed the bed! You'll be treated to a full "gourmet" breakfast in comfort as we serve up freshly ground brewed coffee and a selection of teas, fresh fruits, perhaps with a bit of yogurt, a plate of pancakes or waffles or French toast or eggs. . .ah, breakfast here is a combination of your choice and a la Cindy's whim. Yum! Continental breakfasts are available on weekdays for business travelers. By request, you may order the "full treatment."
Weather cooperating, the dining room offers a refreshing sun-sparkling morning accented by Artist/Painter Jim Venable's interpretation of a sunset blaze wall finishing. The golden pine furniture was handmade for us in Southeastern Virginia. As you enjoy your breakfast, gaze at the giant oaks, towering magnolia and the plantings in the side yard. On your way to breakfast, check for the sun streaming through the leaded glass panels along side the front door. You'll see rainbows in the hallway! We also serve dinners for our guests upon prior request. It's perfect for special occasions -- honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, business meetings and more. We grill your choice of entry and complete a special five-course dinner package prepared just for you. We think we're among the best in town -- at least that's what our former guests have said!

for each additional guest of yours.
You
can make Highland Place your home for a successful and special variety
of business and social functions. We can easily accommodate up to 20 people
for a formal sit-down dinner and perhaps a larger group for some more casual occasions. You can arrange the
caterer or we may do it for you, depending upon size. We'll do all we can to accommodate you and
